Made in china no wonder it is bad

That is what happens when you have any product made in China to save money. I actually love my machine even though it leaks a little and i have to hold the lid in place because i broke the tab. always wanted a vitamix but could not see spending $400.00. China has no quality control in their factories and dont forget they do not really like the U.S. I actually worked for a company as a purchasing agent and was constantly dealing with poor quality of products we were having made in china, that company eventually stopped production of those items.

Blender stated smoking and the metal at the bottom chipped off in pieces

I purchased the blender from Walmart last year June. I noticed it does not puree soup properly. it started smoking when Im blending and the rubber at the top part of the engine started running and everytime I clean after use, it is always very dark like the colour of the rubber is coming off. It makes lots of noise and will stop working at will. I was using it last weekend and the bottom ring chipped off. also it started leaking and the wheel at the bottom chipped off and there are tiny balls that fell from either the bottom engine or from other part of the blender. the blender is no longer working. IT TOOK ME ABOUT 4 MONTHS TO DECIDE ON THIS BLENDER AND IT DID NOT EVEN LAST UP TO 8 MONTHS B4 IT STARTED ACTING UP.

I have the same problem, and this is my second Health Master Elite.The second time I bought 3 year warranty.It died after 7 months.No reply from the costumer service.

My husband bought my health master a few years ago as a birthday gift and I loved it! However, this product is poorly designed and the baring inside the pitcher rusted and caused a horrible burning metal smell and taste to my smoothie and will not work now. I called to see if I could purchase a replacement pitcher and was told they don't carry the pitcher anymore and they do not have any kind of solution to the problem. The customer service was extremely rude. I am very disappointed that such an expensive blender has this low level of customer service.

I got the Health Master Elite about 2 years ago. Over a 6 mos period we used it about 6 times. When we tried it the next time it would not even power on. I contacted the company about a replacement base and had to pay $40 plus shipping for a new base. This was over a year ago. Last October the company sent out a card explaining a backorder issue and asked if we wanted refund or to wait. I chose to continue to wait. To date I still have not received a base. I called yesterday to check on it and they said they don't show a charge for the base, which is a lie because it is on my bank statement. They also told me the product line was discontinued and they cannot refund or replace the product. This product has a lifetime warranty on the motor! How can they not be able to refund? Class action suit needs to be started!

It's broke..................

got this as a gift it was over 200$ and I used it for a little over a year. to day nothing. I had been having issues with it turning off a lot but could get it back working after hitting reset. this blender bites. I called the number in the book and they said it's discontinued ? so what does that mean I just lost out and the person that bought it for me can't do anything ? he just kept saying it's discontinued.. well how can you warranty something for a lifetime and not honor it ?? really surprised Montel is not doing somethin g about products that have his name on it ?? I am pissed.

I want to start a class action law suit on Montel Williams and health Master who is with me.. I purchased my machine Dec 26, 2012 I purchased a YD-2088E Health Master the basic. I paid 219.95, it is know October 20 2014 , I called Health Master back in April 2014 to advise my motor froze and will no longer come on . I pressed reset numerous times and used all the electrical receptacles in the house to make sure it was the machine that was out of order. However, during my call the operator said for me to call back at the end of July 2014 because the type of machine I was requesting was not available for replacement and more should be in by end of July but the product is no longer in production. I waited a little longer and called October 20, 2014 due to a busy schedule. I was advise by operator (Andy)that they are no longer making this particular model again, and I could buy a upgraded, better deal on a machine for 74.99 no S/H required this was the full price to get a better machine according to the operator?? But I still paid would have paid 294.94 for a refurbished, and I still have a non working blender. We went back and forth on the cost, and the warranty and what made them think this was a better deal for me. I found out during the conversation that this was not a new model they were trying pawn off on me it is a refurbished model. I told operator (Andy) know explain to me how is this better, I originally purchased a brand new model in 2012 know your giving me a refurbished model that someone else had problems with . I than asked about the warranty I had left from my original purchase would the rest of the warranty continue or would my warranty start from fresh. I was advised I would lose that which I had still 4 years left from the first warranty that I paid extra $30.00 for. I asked again know? how is this better for me. I know lose my warranty and I'm only going to receive a 30 day warranty refund offer if machine breaks again. I said so what happens to the old machine do you want it operator Andy said no. I than advised operator (Andy)this is not a option because now I get refurbished blender that's used, I have a defective machine with me currently nobody want's, and your not willing to work with me he claims that is his best offer he didn't have the say so to do anything else. I asked to speak to a supervisor he put me on hold went looking for one ??then when he returned said he was a supervisor. I asked for the corporate office number and address he refused to give to me. So I said ok can I have the legal complaint address to send mail when I file my lawsuit he gave me a State first (Fairfield N.J.) then said No I have to give you this P.O box address Health Master P.O box 3125 Wallingford. CT 06495 So I said well let me speak to someone with power, they can make decisions and o things you can't do he said there are 3 supervisors on the floor. I said well what good is that to me they don't have any say so either . I need someone with a decision making power your boss someone who is probably listening to this call, and probably coxing you during this call to tell me things. I am well aware how telemarketing, my rights, policy and procedure works and since your reneging on your warranty I need to speak to your boss the person that sits in another office other than where your sitting. Operator (Andy) continued to say there the only office and he cant work any other deals. I asked again is what your doing correct defaulting on the warranty I paid for because I have to know take this to court. And because your not working with me you do realize your office will be paying out way more than what I am asking you to do once this goes to court because I am recouping all fee's. I'm not paying any more money this is not working for me, your rip me off? operator (Andy) said can you please hold on let me see what I can do. He comes back on line and said I can offer you a brand new Health Master Elite for 149.97 with a free 6 year warranty no S&H cost on this machine you can pay 1 full payment or split the payment into 3. So I asked Operator (Andy) how is this a better deal? I asked him do you want the Blender back. I told him I didn't need a broken blender I told him people work to hard for there money to just let people like your company steal it. Operator (Andy) said no we don't want it.. OK I said so the option for a new blender is even more money know so in actuality I will be paying your company 369.97 grand total what I paid at first + 149.97 Ok I said so since your not honoring you warranty that I paid 30 dollars for, and since I know have a blender nobody wants that's paid for in full, And your company has my money from the first purchase. I told Operator (Andy) I honored my agreement with your company paid you on time, but I have a useless blender how about we work with the customer for a change. Since I paid originally 219.95 and you want 149.97 why don't you apply 149.97 from my original balance of 219.95 send me my new blender and we are fair and square I get a blender I can know use? what you have is a happy customer, (Andy) got quite?? still the answer was I can't make that call? ok so put someone on that can? I said, ok at this point I am done this is going to BBB, I'm giving bad reviews about this company, and I'm filing a lawsuit, I had to hang up the call after getting know where this is ridiculous. I'm over it. Till I file with the courts. anybody on board for a class action they can not continue to steal, and renege on there warranty I may have missed a few bit and pieces of info but this is pretty much the jest of the call.

I just submitted a claim to "Bad Health Master Blener? - Classaction.ws.

I found it on google...first one that shows up when asking about the defective blender. I've had mine a year and now is inoperable and was getting that way for a few months...a piece of junk for sure. I ordered mine on his infomercial.

The lawyer only takes a percent of the money refunded if he can get it for you.

Don't know how much but work it anyway. We shall see the response, as I just submitted it.

Try this...worth a try.

Lets put this in simple words, DON'T BUY. Unless you feel like *** someone out. This machine has no power. Montel sure makes it look like it is the best blender around. This is the worst blender I have ever used. Get a real blender for cheep go to your local department store. The one you get will still work better. I have 2 of montel's blenders. The first stoped working while trying to make rice flour. The second one stoped working, blendind soft fruit like. Guava, mango, sweet lime, and other fruit like bananas. I didn't even get to any vegetables, or ice. The dang thing started smoking and then stop. I can get the second going but it will stop after no more than 2minutes. I have been on the computer texting with CS thay want receipts. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS. I DIDN'T IT IS GOING TO SCREW ME.

Terrible Product

Hi, The machine stopped working shortly after we received it as a gift from our daughter. Customer service will not respond. Promised to send a new unit, but of course it never arrived. BUYER BEWARE! SHAME ON MONTEL WILLIAMS FOR PUTTING HIS NAME ON SUCH A CHEAP AND LOUSY PRODUCT! We were told that the engine had died and they would send a replacement, but as stated above, it never came. We feel extra badly as our daughter spent her hard earned money on it and was so excited to give it to us. I am going to keep calling customer service.

The unit didn't work from the day I received it!! It's a piece of garbage n no one answers there 800 line to give a complain to!! I had one person answer after 15 min n gave them the SN n they couldn't find my purchase order or date !!! Your better off with the costco brand!! Bc they Back all things up with the return or exchange policy!!!! THIS IS ONE SAD COMPANY MONTEL IM SORRY BUT YR A SAD CADIDATE FOR A PRODUCT!! ESP that says 5-7 year warranty!!!
