I ALSO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WHEN I FIRST PURCHASE THE BLENDER I CALLED ABOUT THE PROBLEM THEY TOLD ME ABOUT THE RESTART IN THE BACK HAD TROUBLE SINCE THE BLENDER KEPT IN CABINET DOES NOT WORK NOW WE HAVE BEEN PICKPOCKET WITH THIS ITEM WE HAVE A CLASS SUE IN ACTION

I'm on hold pressing #2 for almost 15 mins. In process of making butternut squash soup when blender stopped.

It appears to be the motor. I was told when purchased I had a lifetime warranty should anything electrical or faulty happen.

Shame on you Motel. I believed in you.
